BP11 H CC – cross profiles (connectors) for groove beads

APPLICATION: For making cross connections of groove beads at an angle of 90 degrees in the insulation façade.

Functional properties:

  • The use of cross profiles does not require any additional working of the groove beads connected to the cross profile – except for cutting them to the desired length.
  • The groove beads are connected to the cross profile with a butt joint – exactly the same as the longitudinal connection of two successive groove beads.
  • Cross profiles increase the technical advantages of cross connections of groove beads and the aesthetics of such joints.
  • Cross profiles guarantee a tight cross connection of groove beads. Additionally – this is not obligatory – longitudinal connectors for groove beads can be used that connect the cross profile with groove beads.

Description

Assembly: Cross profiles for groove beads should be assembled in the same way as groove beads. A groove must be made in the thermal cladding, correspondingly larger than the dimension of the groove bead used. Next, insert glue to embed the fibreglass mesh into the groove and insert the cross profile inside it. The glue should be located under the whole element. Perforated wings of the cross profile and the groove bead itself should be covered with the façade fibreglass mesh from the top (lapped). In the case of groove beads in a version with the fibreglass mesh, for example BP11 H2S, the façade fibreglass mesh should „overlap” the fibreglass mesh strips (which the groove bead with the mesh features) and the perforated wings of the cross profile from the top.
